What it does

fylt Rook keeps quotations, invoices, recorded payments, expenses, and statements in one business-ready ledger. It supports client-friendly, multi-currency billing while keeping financial context connected to the work and relationship behind every transaction. Payments your clients make outside fylt — bank transfer, UPI, cash, or cheque — are recorded against the invoice so balances always reflect reality.

Set the business currency from Business settings, then use Rook for client-level billing context.

Keeps reporting and document decisions aligned across fylt.

Review the Numbering and payments tab for the document rules and payment information your business uses.

Creates a consistent financial identity on every new record.

Sets clear expectations at every commercial handoff.

Getting started

  • Set your default currency and payment terms in Rook → Settings.
  • Send your first quotation — approval can auto-convert it into an invoice or project.
  • Record each payment as it arrives so invoice balances and statements stay accurate.

Key settings

  • Payment terms: default due-date offset applied to new invoices.
  • Currency: your reporting currency; individual invoices can still bill clients in their own currency.
  • Reminders: schedule automatic reminder emails for overdue invoices.

Daily workflow

  • Review the invoices dashboard each morning for anything overdue.
  • Send quotations as soon as scope is agreed — approval can auto-create the project.
  • Log expenses as they happen so month-end statements are accurate.

What updates next

A quotation can move directly into a project or invoice once it is approved. Recorded payment activity updates the related client experience in Cove and gives Lynx a current view of the business.

fylt AI in this workflow

Use fylt AI to draft quotation line items from a short brief and to develop polished payment instructions, terms, and customer-ready reminders that you can refine before sending.

Make the most of it

  • Use scheduled reminders so overdue invoices chase themselves.
  • Multi-currency invoices bill in the client's currency but report in yours.
  • Duplicate a past invoice or quotation to save time on repeat engagements.
